Objective: Download Unity and start game project

Download Unity from unity.com selecting the appropriate version, for me the personal edition. All editions have the same functionality within the Unity editor.

Using Windows file explorer, open UnityHubSetup.exe in the download folders. Allow changes for Unity and agree to the terms of service. Choose your install path and install, afterwards Windows defender will ask you to choose firewall permissions. Create a Unity account and log into Unity Hub. Go to installs and download the recommended Unity release. Select the appropriate modules, here Android, WebGL and Windows, and agree to terms of service.

After the editor installs, you can see icons at the bottom of each build for the modules installed. Go to projects and create your project by adding a new project with the latest build. Check your install path, select your project type, and give it a name.

The project project will open in Unity and you are ready to begin development of your game.
